My Mama Fawn (Grandma Bryce)
My Mama Fawn passed away last Wednesday. She is my father's mother and has done so much good here on earth! I look up to her so much for all the trials she struggled and conquered in her life. She always served others. Mama Fawn loved to take her grandkids to parades and invite us for parties. I look at her life and think about how much good she has done and I hope I can carry on her legacy. So many people know her and admire her. I rejoice for her because now she is free of mortal pain and suffering. She has always been such a social outgoing person but after her first stroke, about 5 years ago, she was not the same...she could not speak as she wished and it must have been frustrating for her. I love her and will miss her but know I will see her again someday because of the atonement of Jesus Christ.
Here is a beautiful poem my cousin Michayle told me about. It is awesome.
Gone From My Sight
by Henry Van Dyke
I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side, spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and startsfor the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.
Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone"

Gone where?
Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.
Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.
And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"

happy valentines day! Part I
Frosting heart cookies is one of my favorite things to do for Valentines Day. We invited Jenn, Hannah, & Leah over to join in the fun! As you can see in the picture, the girls did a lot more eating than decorating...so did I!

Beautiful Hannah enjoying an unfrosted cookie...frosting takes too
long sometimes when you're really hungry!

Celiese gently spreading her frosting. She also really liked putting on the candy.

Maren reaping the reward of hard decorating work

Tada! Wish we could've sent you all some...but we ate them all gone!
Hope you all had a great Valentines Day!!

happy valentines day! Part II
We were so happy to find a special valentine package from Papa & Nana Marble! Here is a video of Maren & Celiese opening it...unfotunatley we ran out of memory or the video would be longer...(take notice of Celiese in the background as well)

Luke enjoying his Valentine. Thanks Papa&Nana, We Love You! We also recieved in the mail Valentines we sent you....mommy forgot to put the stamp on, so look for a be-lated valentine coming your way next week!

We took a walk to the Provo Temple.

Maren working hard on her Valentine necklace from Papa&Nana

Jorden helpeing Celiese with her necklace

Oops! Daddy accidently pulled the string, the tape
on the end busted and candy beads everywhere!

The final product... Celiese insisted she put on her princess dress before she could put on her necklace...these girls just keep the laughs coming...

This is Maren's last day of preschool at The Little Red Preschool in Lehi, UT. We took a picture of her with her teachers, who are sisters, Miss Lacey and Miss Mindy. We will miss them and I know Maren misses school! (scroll down for more moving pictures)

Here are a few photos from her last day...which was actually a feild trip to Cabellas.
Celiese, Luke and I got to tag along.

In the store they have an Aquarium...with huge fish
Also inside are various real stuffed animals....It's kind of like going to the zoo of dead preserved animals...it was really neat! Even better...it's free.

In the past 6 months we have had 3 kitchens. I thought it would be fun to show them all...not to complain, but just a Symbolic picture of the many changes we've encountered in such a short time. Hope you enjoy!

Here we have the kitchen we moved out of in August 2008 located in Solomon, AZ. The cabinets are custom built by Brett and the appliances are Viking.
We signed a lease last week on our house and the family will eventually buy! We feel so blessed and thank you all for your prayers. Yeah!!

This is the kitchen we used while living in Neil & Michells' basement in Saratoga Springs, UT. It had lots of cabinets and a DISHWASHER. We will miss seeing them around and running upstairs to ask, "Do you have any (fill in the blank) I can borrow?" I know your laughing Neil & Michelle!

Last week we moved to Provo, UT on BYU Wymount. We have one wall of cabinets and a lovely dish drainer I found at Saver's (they are pretty expensive new!) Behind that blank wall on the second picture is the fridge and WONDERFUL shelves to put stuff on...including our MICROWAVE...yes, microwave is big because we didn't have one for a week, it wasn't so bad, but we did have lots of leftovers to reheat this past weekend!

I truly am grateful for what we have now and how much the Lord has blessed us! I've learned that I don't have to have a huge kitchen to make bread....but really I've learned that no matter how small my "kitchen" I'll always have my FAMILY and that's what matters most!
