I cut my hair about 3 weeks ago. I haven't cut my hair this short since 4th grade! I thought it would be a fun change. What do you think?

Kathryn is Engaged!! Jorden's baby sister said "yes" to Lorin Murdock last Thursday night. They will be married June 13th in the Mesa, Az Temple. Aren't they so cute? Jorden says he feels old now because his little sis is getting married. We are all excited and think he's a great guy.

Yeah...We've Begun!!
About 6 weeks ago we started building our first house! Jorden helped Maren measure, Bethany put in the first stake, and Celiese, well she smiled and watched. For convenience I created a blog just for pictures and progress of the house. You can go to progresshome.blogspot.com or click on the link. We now have a hole in the ground so...

Mommy's Little Helper
Maren loves to help out around the house. Her favorites are putting dishes away, sweeping, and washing the floor or counter. Yeah for Maren! (and mommy too)

Maren loves to play the piano with her Aunt "Kikki" (katy is Jorden's sister) Katy even made up a song to sing to Maren...it's really cute!

Yeah for Green Beans!! Celiese's first food to try, besides the oatmeal and rice cereals, is green beans...and she loves them! She already finished all of the 4 jars I bought so now it's time to try another food. What do you suggest??

Ohh...My poor Maren!!
Today I got on the tread mill (spell?) yeah! And while I was running Maren kept trying to get on with me. I said "No," firmly, hoping she would get the idea that is was not a good idea. But she quietly got behind the treadmill and tried to hop on (I think, I didn't see) and this is what happened to her beautiful face! Christina (sisterinlaw) was over today and said her Chelsea and Wyatt did the same thing...I guess kids just get hurt sometimes, but my tummy hurts every time I look at her! Oh, there is even a spot of blood on my shirt..poor Maren.

my beautiful sandwich!

Ok, I just got done blogging and decided to make a wonderful croussaint with turkey, mozzerella, with avacado on top. And what could be better than toasting my sandwich in the oven on broil? After putting my sandwich in I began to ponder about my blog...how one day I would make a blog about me finally having my own home and have pictures of me in my new house and how I'm not having people over for awhile so I can finally have my own space ect.......then I smelled the smoke, ran to the oven where my lunch was on fire! I thought.."I should take a picture of this for my blog, but wait I should probably get the flame out first!" So, I did. And here is my sandwich..the aftermath..guess what? I still salvaged what I could and ate it and very much enjoyed my beautiful sandwich! Lesson learned? Maybe I should be grateful for what I already have!

Snow! Snow! Snow!

What a site to behold! Snow is all around on the tree tops, on the ground in Safford, Arizona...It's nothing less than a miracle! We woke up Monday morning to a winter wonderland. It snowed all day! Sam, David, Amber, Brad, Katy, Jorden and Bethany went four-wheeling out in the snow to the river and had fun throwing snow at eachother! We made a HUGE snowman down by the river.
Monday evening David (Jorden's brother) hooked inner tubes to the four-wheelers with rope and we had a blast sliding in the cow pasture. Although..the bull chased Jorden, Sam, and David a little bit. It was cold but we had fun getting our rear ends frozen while riding around on a bumpy tube. I'd have to say Christina was the best rider of all...David drove the atv doing doughnuts and she held on for all her might! Maren loved eating the snow and just sitting in it. Sunday night when it had just began to snow, Jorden and Bethany had a nice snow ball fight about 11:00 at night. It was fun to have a little brake from life...thanks to the SNOW!!

HALLOWEEN
maren dressed as a black cat and celiese as a bunny rabbit. maren was more interested in playing on the slide at our ward's trunk-or-treat than getting candy and she was upset when we had to pull her away from the slide because it was getting cold. she pointed and laughed at all the kids in their silly costumes. it was fun..but we're looking forward to next year when maren might understand it better.....although i'm not quite sure i understand halloween!!

Moving Again...

Well, MB Homes is doing so well that Jorden and I decided to put off school (ahhh!) and put all our attention on the buisiness. So, after living a month in Mesa in a condo we bought, we've moved back in with his parents. Bethany is trying very hard to get the condo sold so they can move into their own place (spread the word!)

"Brush, brush, brush..."
Last night Maren found a hanger and started to "brush" her Aunt Brandi's hair with it. As she "brushed" her hair she whispered to herself "brush, brush, brush.." Aunt Brandi was very patient and let Maren "brush" her hair as long as Maren wanted. Ahhh...Maren loves her Aunt Brandi and Uncle Bruce.

4 AM: UP AND AT'EM!!

Celiese's favorite time of the day is 4 am. She's her happiest, moving her legs and arms about and smiling. It's a great way to start the day. I think she inherited this trait from her Grandpa Don Marble, who wakes up at 4:30 everyday to exercise. I can get quite a bit done in the early morning-like making a new post on my blog...however, I must admit, I'd rather be sleeping! :)
